Run of Site

Run of Site targeting allows your Onsite Display ads to appear in any eligible placement across Walmart’s site and app—excluding the homepage—for the duration of your campaign. It maximizes reach and inventory exposure without audience or placement constraints. 

This approach provides the widest customer reach possible through Walmart Onsite Display platform and is ideal for broad awareness campaigns, scale-driven objectives and brands seeking maximum exposure. 

How it works

When no specific audience or placement is selected, Run of Site targeting is automatically enabled. Ads can appear across Walmart’s digital properties, except the homepage, wherever inventory is available. No additional setup is needed.

Applying geotargeting

You can combine Run of Site targeting with geotargeting to refine delivery by province, city or postal code (First three values) — helping optimize reach within key regions. Visit the Geotargeting guide for setup instructions.
